The foundation's objectives can be summed up in seven pillars that encompass the three tiers above. These pillars include spiritual empowerment, education, family health and hygiene, economic empowerment, water and sanitation, environmental conservation, and relief supplies. The foundation is committed to collaborating with stakeholders, both local and international, to achieve these objectives. The KOTA Foundation is pooling funds from members and partners for humanitarian efforts, food relief, and medical care.
Thus, our specific Objectives include the following:
1. Spiritual empowerment:
• Encourage the community to embrace a life of holiness and hard work
• Provide access to Christian teachings and biblical resources
• Encourage prayer and intercession for individuals and the community as a whole
2. Education:
• Promote literacy and numeracy among children
• Provide teaching and learning resources
• Establish vocational training centers in partnership with development partners
• Support bright and needy students and vulnerable children through fundraising efforts
3.Family health and hygiene:
• Promote nutrition and food supply through the establishment of a cereal bank for food relief
• Provide essential drug supply and treatment of minor ailments
• Conduct health education outreach programs with local and international partners
4.Economic empowerment:
• Provide microloans for business startups, such as kiosks, groceries, cereals, and fruits, through local savings and credit schemes
• Support the development of local fellowships and businesses
• Provide access to tools and equipment to promote economic growth
5.Water and sanitation:
• Construct shallow wells fitted with hand pumps
• Protect natural springs and establish pit latrines
• Partner with local and international organizations to improve access to clean water and sanitation facilities
6.Environmental conservation:
• Establish tree and fruit nurseries to enhance the environment
• Promote the use of solar technology to reduce deforestation and improve personal health
• Partner with development organizations to support the sustainable management of forests and the rational utilization of forest resources
7.Relief supplies:
• Pool funds from members and partners to provide humanitarian aid and food relief
• Provide medical care and support to those in need
• Conduct outreach programs to support the most vulnerable members of the community
