The Kitale Organization of Transformation Africa.
(KOTA) Foundation

The Kitale Organization of Transformation Africa (KOTA) Foundation is a grassroots organization dedicated to providing support to local communities in Kenya for the holistic improvement of livelihoods. Established in 2022, the foundation is focused on addressing issues related to water and sanitation, family health and hygiene, environmental conservation, economic empowerment, and education. The foundation is committed to engaging individuals, families, and institutions in Kenya to achieve its goals.

The foundation's activities are organized into three major areas. The first area is the promotion and cultivation of Christianity and Christian teachings. The foundation's mission in this area is to promote community transformation through holy living and hard work. The foundation plans to carry out evangelistic activities throughout Trans-nzoia county in Kenya, including evangelism, biblical teachings, training, prayers, intercessions, and other religious activities.

The second area of focus is social-economic empowerment of the communities. The foundation aims to empower families in the community to be self-sustaining in terms of food, healthcare, and shelter. The foundation is focused on grassroots-driven activities that are affordable and use locally available resources to improve the economic and social environments of the community. The foundation aims to establish projects that will help the community realize these objectives.

The third area of focus is the conservation of the environment and the mitigation of the effects of climate change. Trans-nzoia County has been significantly affected by climate change, including increased fluctuations in rainfall and reduced rainfall in recent times. Human activities, especially deforestation, have played a part in these climatic changes. The KOTA Foundation aims to engage in environmental conservation activities, including the establishment and sustainable management of forests and the rational utilization of forest resources for socio-economic development.
